When I was 19, I was pregnant, scared and alone. I had were many 'choices.' I gave my son up for adoption at birth, by choice. Seven years later, he is happy, healthy and well-taken care of by his adoptive parents . . .

I would like to share my story of courage with your readers. I have made it one of my life's goals to eliminate the stigma and negative connotation that adoption carries in our society. I would also like to educate people about open adoption. I might be able to use pictures if my son's parents allow! Any opportunity to share my story is appreciated.
